This charming, national non-profit offers free, 2 ½ day fly fishing trips between April and November, in 35, states to any woman of any age (14+) at any stage of treatment for breast cancer. This quality of life program provides counseling and medical education incorporating fly fishing and promoting physical and emotional healing.


Christina S. Walsh Breast Cancer Foundation

It is the mission of the Foundation to provide financial assistance to comfort breast cancer patients and their families in the hopes that some of the hardships will be lessened. One-time fee $300 per patient. Need only a doctor’s note verifying you have breast cancer.


MamaMare Breast Cancer Foundation

At the Cancer Center at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, MMBCF upgraded TVs in infusion room, created ‘respite’ room for wigs etc and donated computer tablets for patient and family use. Provides post-surgery assistance with house-cleaning, meals, child care, financial support for long-term hospital care, lodging for family members and dream vacations for Stage 4 breast cancer patients. The Survivors Thrive Grant ProgramTM was created to provide financial assistance to breast cancer survivors post-treatment.


Sharsheret

Sharsheret is a national not-for-profit organization supporting young Jewish women facing breast cancer and their families by offering a supportive community of women, all of Jewish backgrounds, diagnosed with breast cancer or at increased genetic risk. Fosters culturally-relevant individualized connections with networks of peers, health professionals, and related resources


Shirley Mae Breast Cancer Assistance Fund

The Shirley Mae Fund seeks to offer relief for patients in Southeastern New Jersey who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and who demonstrate financial need. Does not give cash grants directly but will help patients obtain wigs, prosthesis’, co-pays for medical bills, etc. Apply on-line or leave message for application


South Jersey Breast Cancer Coalition

Only breast cancer patients who can prove financial need are qualified; requires a note or verification from a doctor or social worker.  SJBCC will help pay essential bills: rent, mortgage, utilities, gas card to get to treatment, however no medically-related bills. Bills paid directly to the billing party. No cash grants.


The Pink Fund

Providing ‘real help now.’ Help for up to 90 days of non-medical financial assistance to breast cancer patients in active treatment. The application requires a doctor’s note and documentation. Bills paid directly to the patient’s creditors.
